There are various aftermarket linkages available but we have never been entirely happy with them, so we decided to have our own made.

They are fully adjustable using rose joints for the main throttle bar and throttle cable pivot. The throttle bar mounting posts are machined from solid aluminium billets. shown here on out TR5, its been a revolation!!

The cost of the kit is £325 + vat without the choke fast idle mechanism OR £355 with.

I must admit we usually disconnect the fast idle mechanism on the TR5/6's as it usually revs too high or not at all with no stalling or rough running problems.

 

 

For all you 'Taller' people, we have devised a method of re-shaping the rear inner wheel arch & modifying the seat runners, so the seat will go back about 2 1/2 - 3 inches more than standard & it works !!!
